The Peak Story

Peak Fitness is owned and operated by Kerrville Fitness, Inc. Although Peak Fitness as it now exists officially opened on July 4, 2013, the ties to the community of its predecessor, The Family Sports Center, go as far back as 1959 to the original establishment, the Kerrville Bowling Center.

After acquiring The Family Sports Center as well as Ultrafit Resort, the owners of Peak Fitness began a complete and expansive renovation of the properties with a singular mission: to provide Kerrville with a modern facility that offers updated programming, improved amenities and top-of-the-line fitness equipment. The result: a 30,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility featuring an

enclosed pool area, an expanded floor plan with a mezzanine-level cardio theatre, group exercise and spinning studios, and the addition of Kerr County’s first sports performance training center. The new Texas Hill Country complex offers both aquatic and land-based exercise options and a full menu of training applications for athletes of all levels.
